As some of you may know (most not), I was on the path to become a painter. Didn’t happen. But there are glimmers of hope as to the potential that could have been a very poor and misunderstood artist… I do say “glimmers.”

I was on the subway when I sketched the gentleman reading the book. The Christ figure was/is actually very large. Both done with oil pastel. I love oil pastel - especially when used with other mediums (conte, graphite, oil, acrylic, glue, etc.).
