Stamp Series

February 13th, 1997 by thirtytwo

I don’t have a clue where I get some of these ideas, but they sometimes are really cool. This stamp series was for a digital photo class. I had a couple models in the studio. I shot very traditional body shots. Nice color. Warm light. All with a tethered Hasselblad to a Mac desktop (digital back). In post production I “altered” the body parts to distort them ever-so-slightly. Not always knowing you were looking at a person, not always knowing there is something “wrong” with the person in the photo.

So what’s with the “stamp” construct? I don’t remember? Something with the homogenized government stamping out our something or other…
