I’ve started using a new service called Tumblr. It’s a destination for multiple feeds I currently push. Since most of my work these days is consultative and research I don’t post much here (unless I start painting more; who knows). Anyway, I’m testing the display and ability to push content from / thirtytwo. This example below is from a web series that wasn’t chosen by the client. I still like the coloring.

So I sold the 912 and got a 964. When I found out that Porsche had an AWD vehicle years ago, I thought “how cool would it be to have a daily driver (due to the snow, and seasons where I live) Porsche.” See, the 912’s had major rust issues (as do all classics). I only drove my 912 when the conditions were good. Driving a Porsche in bad weather was a foreign concept to me. In 1989 Porsche redesigned the 911 due to lagging sales. The new vehicle brought excitement back to Porsche and the rest is history. It was also the first consumer offered AWD.
Once again, I started a Blog site for her. I take more pictutres of my car then I do my children. Sad, but true.

After a number of conversations with this client (not RV, this was to be the Blogging space) I went ahead and mocked up what it could potentially be. They still own the URL, but no traction on the site.

I have a blog for my cars, my design work, and of course a general blog for random junk that happens (where do I find the time? don’t ask, I’ll get yealled at again by my wife).
I cover some of the same stuff here, I talk about other designers I like, sh*t I see on the street, when I’m sick, movies… just a blog about life. Since I don’t really have one right now, it’s been a bit stale as of late.

It had been a life long dream to own a classic automobile. I’m a car nut. While researching options in my early 20’s I discovered a vehicle that had been under the radar: Porsche 912. 4 cyl engine, 50/50 weight distro, almost idential to the 911’s of the time (save the engine difference)… and at the time, very affordable.
I searched, and researched, and read every manual I could get my hands on, and looked some more. I found a 1966 on eBay that was perfect. Not a garage queen, not 100% perfect, but driveable. With the help of Imagine Auto, and lots of hours on my part, I restored (not totally, mind you) a classic.
Being a web geek, I obviously blogged about the work I did, the drives I took, the money I spent (that was a bad idea).
I have sicne sold my classic baby, but the site lives on. The site will not change until I get a new 912 (yes, I will have another 1966 to play with).
